'Social misfit.'

That's what I was labeled.

For years,
I barely had any friends.

By the time I turned 30,
my contacts list had exactly 2 or 3 people left —
friends from middle school.
And even them,
I'd only text once every few months,
just to check they were still alive.

It's not like I didn't want new friends.
I did.

But the second I stood in front of someone,
my mind went blank.
My eyes drifted to the floor on their own.
My mouth just...
wouldn't open.
Cold sweat, every time.

That look on their face —
confused, uncomfortable, waiting
for me to say something.

Watching that look was
the worst feeling in the world.

So eventually, I stopped meeting people altogether.
I just stayed home.
And yeah.
By any definition,
I was socially awkward. Certified.

The 5 Minutes That Felt Like Hell

I hadn't seen my middle school friend in years.
We finally met up —
except he brought someone else along.
Someone I didn't know.

Then he stepped out to the bathroom. Five minutes.
The table went dead silent.
I sat there, fidgeting with my water glass.
The other person looked just as uncomfortable,
eyes glued to their phone.

We barely said a word for the rest of that meetup.
And obviously, we never saw each other again.

"Why are you always so quiet?"

Every time I heard that,
it cut a little deeper.
I told myself: I can't keep living like this.

So I read every conversation book I could find.
Cover to cover.
Then I dragged myself to every meetup,
every mixer, trying it all out.

Did it work?

Nope. Not even a little.

Most of those books say the same thing:
"Just be a good listener."

But I wasn't quiet because I had nothing to say —
I was quiet because I had no idea what to say.
And "listen more" wasn't advice.
It was just telling me to disappear
into the background.

They didn't understand
what introverts really struggle with.

What I needed wasn't tips
to sound more "polished."

I needed something that could break the awkward silence —
and keep the conversation going,
in a way that felt fun.
Not performed. Just... fun.

So I did my own research.

I closed the books
and hit the streets myself.
Went to every kind of meetup and watched.
Studied how people talked to each other.

'How does that person open a conversation?'

'When the talk runs dry, what topic do they bring up?'

'What do the natural hosts of a room actually say?'

Everyone else does this stuff without thinking.
I broke it down like a math formula
and wrote down every piece of it.

"4 years went by"

4 Years Later

Now, no matter where I go or who I meet,
I can actually enjoy the conversation.
I made a formula for that.

I go to any meetup now
and meeting new people doesn't scare me anymore.
If anything, talking to a total stranger is exciting.

I made friends I know will stick around for life.
And I even started dating
someone I used to only dream about.

My personality didn't change.

I'm still an introvert.
Put me in a room full of high-energy people
and part of me still wants to
sneak out halfway through.

The one thing that changed?

I learned
how to break the awkward silence.

Everything I figured out
over these 4 years —
the entire formula is in this PDF.

Follow it the first time you meet someone,
and 99% of the time,
the conversation flows.
No awkwardness.

But don't expect a miracle.

You won't suddenly become an extrovert.
You're not going to be the life
of some 50-person party either.

But here's the one thing
I can promise you.

you'll be able to talk naturally —
one-on-one, or in a small group.
That's where this really works.

because fewer variables means
the formula works, always.

Here's what's inside:

Ch 2. "What should I even say?"

Ch 3. 2 Topics You'll Use for Life

Ch 7. Just Do This. The First Date Conversation Formula

Ch 8. The 'Infinite First-Date Pipeline'

those 5 minutes in the bathroom.

I made this PDF
for the version of me from 4 years ago
like I'm handing it to him myself.

I hope you get to meet people freely now,
and actually enjoy talking to them.
